I am also interested in setting up Telegram notifications. When I followed the forum link posted above (https://forum.haasonline.com/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=1162) it took me to a discussion that says:

Thanks for your help.

The Telegram video was a decent overview of the capability but, was a little murky regarding the actual step-by-step process. The process is very easy but, it does have some key steps that I wanted to share in case it helps anyone else. Most of it I recreated from the descriptions in the video overview and screencaps from my setup procedure.

This write-up will cover Telegram setup between the Haas Trade Sever (HTS) and a mobile Android device.

Install Telegram
Telegram is available for most mobile devices and computer OS's through there home page:
Telegram Messenger
https://www.telegram.org/

I will be installing it on an Android device through the Google Play Store:
Telegram Messenger App on Google Play
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... .messenger

Once you have Telegram installed on the device(s) of your choice, you will need to add The BotFather to Telegram.

Add The BotFather to Telegram
Go here to add The Botfather "extension":
http://botsfortelegram.com/project/the-bot-father/
Click on the "Add BotFather to Telegram" button at the top of the page.
This will add BotFather to Telegram and open a chat that you can use to create and setup bots.

Setup a new bot
Send "/newbot" to BotFather to create a new bot that will communicate with HTS.
Give your new bot a name, like "haas_9000", for example.
Enter a username for your new bot, like "haas_9000_bot".
You should get a confirmation message for your new bot including its username and API token.
Haas 2.jpg

The link to your bot will be something like "t.me/hass_9000_bot", where "haas_9000_bot" is whatever username you entered in the previous step.

Your HTTP API token will be at the end of the confirmation message, you will need this for HTS to communicate with Telegram.

Load the API token into HTS
Log in to HTS and go to the sidebar.
Haas-HTS Settings.jpg

Using the HTS sidebar drill down to Settings>Settings>Notifications to access the Telegram Notifications settings.
Enter your Telegram bot HTTP API token. I was unable to copy and paste the HTTP API token from the Telegram messaging app so I had to type it out manually. Also, my API token included some ambiguous characters; zeros and lower case letter "ohs" look very similar, capital "eyes" and lower case "els" are almost impossible to tell apart. I used trial and error when typing it into HTS but, there may be a way to use a text editor to determine which characters are which and save you some time.

Select the notifications you would like to receive and click "Save"

Activate your bot
Click the link of your bots username in The BotFather chat to start a chat with your bot
Send a "Hello" text to to activate your bot.

If everything is connected properly you will receive a reply confirming "The connection to your Haasonline Trade Server has been setup." It will include some commands you can use to query HTS, like "bots," which lists all active bots and "wallets", which lists all wallets contents.

Hope this helps. Please comment if you notice any mistakes or missing steps.

The documentation above was helpfull in setting up the notifications.
But when the newly created bot is added to a group or channel the notifications do not work any more

What would you recommend to do?

The goal here is to be able to provide trading notifications to 2 or more telegram accounts simultaneously.
