Hello,
I believe we don't currently have a Trailing Stop Loss Safety available?
The Stop-Loss Dynamic is similar, but it adjusts the Stop both Higher and Lower.
Could you add a Trailing Stop Loss Safety that adjusts dynamically upward (or down for a Short, following the Unrealized Gain) ?
It would follow the profit, but never adjust lower like the current Stop-Loss Dynamic.

Trailing Stop Loss Safety (vs Stop-Loss Dynamic)
Re: Trailing Stop Loss Safety (vs Stop-Loss Dynamic)
Hi,
Go to th safety list.
Find "price pump"
Adjust mapping to "go no postion" on sell signal
This is a trailing stop up
Do the opposite with the saftey
Price Dump
I hope this helps.
Thanks,
Theo

Re: Trailing Stop Loss Safety (vs Stop-Loss Dynamic)
Ahh, I wondered what those Safeties names meant.
Price Pump for Long Position Trailing Stops and Price Dump for Short Position Trailing Stops?
I just looked at them in HTS. They do look like Trailing Stops, but I don't see a way to configure their Parameters.
Is there any way to adjust the % of the Trailing Stop?
What Rules do they follow?
Normally you can set a fixed percent or the number of price points below current for a Trailing Stop.
If you aren't able to customize them, they could be falsely triggered by normal market volatility.
Thank you!

Re: Trailing Stop Loss Safety (vs Stop-Loss Dynamic)
Hi,
Right now you are going to have to set it up like this:
Tight trailing stop would be 1-5min update time
Mid range stop would be 10-30min
Lose trailing stop would be anything over 30min
We will update it so that you can play with more parameters in the future.
Thanks,
Theo

Re: Trailing Stop Loss Safety (vs Stop-Loss Dynamic)
The price dump isn't really the "typical" trailing stop. I'd love to see a true trailing stop.
One that remembers the top price (since bot started or an interval such as 20 days or something) and then evaluates if the price has fallen x% or $xx.xx form the interval's start. Real Life Example: I'd like a better way to prevent January 5, 2017's bitcoin loss. The Trailing Stop that I'm speaking of would have preserved more value ($$), in my case.
Thanks.

Yes I know what a trailing stop is. In fact the price dump-pump will work as one.
We will create one with more paramaters for you.
Thanks,
Theo

Yeah! That's great.
Re: Trailing Stop Loss Safety (vs Stop-Loss Dynamic)
I don't want to suggest too many things... I love your software. But, I've been searching for a way to configure your software to take advantage of absolute price and/or percentage buy/sells changes without resetting the bot's evaluation period.
I'd like to suggest something that incorporate the Trailing Stop I mentioned above....Trailing Stop (Sell) / Trailing Buy with a Re-Buy Wait Period and Cycle Count.
Unlike the Dynamic Stop-Loss, it would wait for an absolute price drop/rise or a percent price drop/rise (it would NOT have the dynamic time span reset).
Here's how I see it. It would trade with an x% drop or a $x.xx drop (USD in my case). Then, after it's sold, it would do it again in reverse... I love to be able to buy when the price rises x% or $x.xx; and combine that with a "Re-buy Wait Period" and end after a "Cycle Count."
The "Re-buy Wait Period" would allow the market to settle down before setting up another cycle. The endafter a "Cycle Count" would execute form 0 to infinity.
For example: I could set a Trailing Stop at .995% and and Trailing Buy at 1.01%, with a 20 minute Wait Period, and run the cycle 5 times.
...This bot would make a killing with bitcoin's volatility!!
What do you think?
It's like the custom order bot except it has sells and buys related to price or percentage up/down with a wait period and a cycle time.
It's a little like the Roof Out or Dynamic Roof Out except it would follow the absolute price up and then down without resetting the evaluation period.
Thanks for listening.

THIS.
Surely one of the very best features to have. Very much sought after.
I understand this is being looked at. Waiting patiently.
