Trailing stop trigger?

Postby jonfelz » Tue Mar 29, 2016 7:31 pm

Is there any way to set a bot to act like a trailing stop order at a certain price point? And if so, can it be adjusted to trail by price difference instead of percentage?

Dynamic Stop Loss acts like this
It is not triggered at price X like an order at an exchange, it is active when it is on, currently it uses price % but maybe we could add one that uses price change difference.

Thanks,
Theo

I am currently using SMA indicator for "trailing stop-loss", instead of the safety. It only uses sell-signals and works as a master indicator. I use default values, which are 5 for short and 34 for long. I think it kinda works for long-term only... But you could play around with it and make it as the last resort sell-trigger - just make sure you don't over-fit it... ;)
